We had a great ski weekend! The location is next to the main road, so you can hear the traffic a bit, but overall - great stay. You need to request to book the hot tub, which surprised me but it ended up being nice because it felt more private and not overcrowded. Would recommend to stay here! View to the mountains in the morning was breathtaking.
Very friendly staff! Amazing room for anyone traveling with a dog Complimentary dog treat gift bag including poop bags. Room came with dog bed and water bowl. Will definitely come back!
We stayed here on the long weekend for the demo derby with a few friends. The staff was awesome and let my friends check into their room extra early so they could settle their dog in the space. Our room was clean and comfortable. The outside shared space was great to hang out in as well. We will definitely be back.

Snow Valley Lodge was a cozy little escape! The cabins are definitely compact, but they’re impressively well-equipped — everything you need is packed in: kitchen, toilet, shower, fridge, comfy bed, sofa, TVs, plus dishes, plates, and glassware. It’s like a tiny home with all the essentials. I loved that dogs are welcome (huge plus for pet owners!), and the office hot tub was a great bonus after a long day outdoors. If you're looking for a snug, no-frills stay with all the basics covered, this place delivers. Just be ready for tight quarters — but honestly, it adds to the charm.
Very happy with the rooms, and the service. A must stay if travelling with a pet. Our room came with extra amenities for our dog and our stay was very comfortable. Hot tub was clean and very enjoyable. Will definatly stay here again when we return. Beautiful views right outside our room.
We drove from Calgary and after a beautiful drive we arrived in Fernie at this sweet little motel! Booking was so easy, check in was a breeze, and the girl working on August 5 was absolutely wonderful! She greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel so welcome right away! Parking was free and we were lucky enough to get a spot right outside our room which was perfect! The whole place had such a warm and cozy family feel! Our room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed. A fridge, microwave, and a full bath which we really appreciated! The lighting was soft and welcoming and I absolutely loved the touch of locally made Fernie soap and body wash! And the hot tub… what a treat! It’s private and you book a time slot in the lobby which was amazing because it gave us our own special family time to relax and soak after a long day! The location was also fantastic, we could walk to restaurants, grab treats, and explore so easily! This place just felt so warm, charming, and thoughtful! We truly enjoyed our stay and I would 100% stay here again! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Fernie!
